Viola Davis was lovely in bright purple last night as she arrived at Cecconi’s Restaurant in Los Angeles for the 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar cocktail soirèe.

The universally flattering wrap style of her three quarter sleeve Max Mara dress fit her beautifully; I like the spread pointed collar.

Viola kept in classic in black pumps and completed her look with dangling earrings — that matched her cuff bracelet — and a white flower appliqué at the open neck.

I can’t wait to see what she wears tomorrow night when she hits the Oscars red carpet!
