Abbie Cornish in Alberta Ferretti | Marquee At The Star Opens In Sydney

Abbie Cornish was among the star attendees at the opening of the Marquee At The Star in Sydney, Australia this past Friday.

The 29-year-old actress flaunted her curvy figure in a green crochet dress with full beaded embellishing from the Spring 2012 collection by Alberta Ferretti.

Despite the gorgeous bold shade, Abbie added an extra-splash of color by wearing violet satin ankle strapped sandals before finishing off with a dark metallic box clutch.

Upon closer look, I see that Abbie also polish her nails to match her shoes!

While I love the color combination, I would have preferred that she wore a different shoe silhouette. Because of a muscular calf, the thick ankle strap cuts Abbie’s leg off at an awkward spot which shortened her leg. I often suffer from this problem, so I would have recommended that she wear the same color and fabric but in a slightly pointed pump design.
