Jennifer Lopez in Peter Pilotto | “American Idol” Top 9 To 8 Live Elimination Show

On Thursday evening during the Top 9 To 8 live elimination show for the eleventh season of “American Idol”, Jennifer Lopez switched things up a bit when it came to her wardrobe.

After donning several dresses, gowns, and even a few pant suits — J.Lo broke out a skirt.

Selecting a look from the Fall 2012 collection by Peter Pilotto, Jenny wore a blue and black abstract cut-out peplum long-sleeve top that layered over a flouncy mini skirt.

I like this style on Jenn, but then again — she’s been giving us something new every night on the show. I like that she doesn’t have a one-dimensional look on Idol, you never know what she’s going to wear next.

With her wavy locks flipped over and styled to one side, Jenn finished off her look with big hoop earrings a black suede ankle strapped pair of double platform Giuseppe Zanotti pumps.
