Kristen added some color to the mix with a button-down crepe pale yellow cropped “C-Bauxite-SM” top from the Spring 2012 collection by Diesel. I really like the unique faded black blotted distressing throughout the design.
I’m kind of obsessing over her hair right now, to be honest. This zig-zag parted, multi-tucked, half-up/half-down style she had going on… it kind of made the whole look work to me. I think I stared at it throughout the entire interview segment.
The new Balenciaga gal showed some love for the fashion house by rocking a pair of black leather “Arena” lace-up oxfords.
I’d like to think of Kristen’s blazer, button-down shirt and pants as one step closer to a menswear-inspired suit.
Give it time, it’ll happen.

I think she knows her body well, she knows what looks good on her… Maybe some people don’t realize, but she has shown great taste since 2008, when she first started with Twilight promo. It’s good to see her recognized now. She’s such a pretty and authentic girl… This looks suits her.
I love this! And I love it on her. She’s on-trend with the high buttoned up collar and yet she makes the look her own. This gets me excited for the film’s promo tour
She needs to make this silhouette: mix of textures, prints, and oxford footwear her daytime signature look. It’s edge without trash. It absolutely suits her. The messy abstract pulled back coif was such a livener compared to her usually just there ratty look. Her eye makeup was a bit heavy for such an early morning interview but paired nicely with her overall look. It she stays on this path I expect to see her in a plethora of fashion editorials!
I bow down to your eagle eyes! On anyone else I would say that the look was a bit dark for a morning show, but I think Kristen pulls it off – the hair (which I totally agree with you by the way) and shoes add a casual vibe to it.
