Lady Gaga arrived at Harvard University yesterday in Cambridge, Massachusetts as she promoted the launch of her Born This Way Foundation, dedicated to putting an end to bullying and cruelty by young people. She wants to empower youth with kindness, individuality and bravery.

Gaga wore a pair of her favorite platform boots that are so high, her ears probably pop when she stands up. You could clearly see her footwear defined beneath her black gown, and yes, Gaga wore a gown out in the snowy New England winter weather!

Are you surprised?

The 25-year-old “Marry The Night” singer was clad in a stunning black floor-length dress with a peplum from the dramatic Fall 2012 collection by Sally LaPointe.

Perhaps the most eye-catching detail of all would be Gaga’s ferocious drop-waist skirted black neoprene coat from the Fall 2012 collection by Prabal Gurung. The iridescent sleeves are simply stunning — they remind me of the Northern Lights!

This is the first time I’ve seen Gaga in one of PG’s designs, but now that she’s gone there — I don’t think she can go back. I’m going to need many more of these fashion moments from her as I felt the jacket, along with those Linda Farrow for Prabal Gurung sunglasses, were perfect for her style.

She completed her look with a netted black headpiece and red lips. This has to be one of her best outfits to date!

I think the dress should have been shortened, it looks like it’s almost dragging in one of the photos. The jacket is fabulous though.
