Nina Dobrev in Rachel Zoe | PaleyFest 2012 Honoring “The Vampire Diaries”

Nina Dobrev hit the black carpet last night at the Saban Theatre with her co-stars from “The Vampire Diaries” as their hit CW series was honored during The Paley Center For Media’s PaleyFest 2012.

The 23-year-old actress selected a very feminine ruffled black dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Rachel Zoe.

While I think the ruffles are a bit too voluminous at the shoulders, I really like how the silhouette — especially the skirt, balances Nina’s tall and slender shape. The base of the design also had an asphalt shimmer that sparkled from the camera light.

My absolute favorite part of the look was the shoes! I totally adore her leopard printed “Gail” sandals from Jimmy Choo with a sexy lace up design. It was so refreshing to see someone pair their LBD with some fun shoes. There’s no better time to whip out some bold prints, color-block or neon colors than with a LBD or LWD — and Nina took advantage of that.

She finished up with a pretty palette of make-up, a side-gathered chignon hairstyle and a blue Rebecca Minkoff fling clutch.
