For the March 21st Top 10 live performance show for the eleventh season of “American Idol”, Jennifer Lopez wore an all-black-everything look that consisted of a two-piece outfit by designer Maria Lucia Hohan.

MLH has been taking over the red carpet for the last year, but this is the first time that I’ve seen Ms. Lopez in one of her designs. For this evening on Idol, the 42-year-old singer wore a smooth black “Sophie” bodysuit — with an embellished jewel collar, that she paired with a black “Karen” leather pencil skirt.

With diamond hoop earrings and a long voluminous wavy mane, J.Lo finished off her look with black suede platform pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti complete a thin ankle strap and a silver Hermés studded cuff bracelet.

After rocking a bright mini the previous night, Jennifer Lopez joined fellow ”American Idol” judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson in a energetic star printed dress by Dolce & Gabbana for the March 15th Top 12 To 11 live elimination show.

J.Lo stepped out on the Hollywood stage for the wearing a gold sequined long-sleeve dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection that featured the scattered white star print all over the design.

This was one of my favorite dresses from the collection, but I had yet to see anyone wear it as well as Ms. Lopez. This was also a fantastic setting to let the beloved starry print really shine. | continue reading..
