Zooey Deschanel in L’Agence | Alliance For Children’s Rights Annual Dinner

Last Thursday, Zooey Deschanel celebrated a great cause as she attended the Alliance For Children’s Rights annual dinner held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. AFCR is dedicated to protecting the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth, and focused on helping them to lead healthy lives, with proper education, in stable homes.

The “New Girl” actress arrived to the dinner rocking an all black look that consisted of a short sleeve black lace cocktail dress from the Fall 2011 collection by L’Agence.

Zooey paired the dress with sheer tights and a pair of solid platform pumps.

This is probably one of the rare times I’ve seen Zooey in something one could call “sexy”. She’s often embracing the sweet or quirky elements of her wardrobe.

While I’m not much of a fan of the ballerina crossover of the slip underneath nor her puffy sleeves, I like her cascading curls.
