Zooey Deschanel stepped out on the black carpet on Monday night for PaleyFest 2012 where her new FOX television series “New Girl” was honored for the night by The Paley Center For Media.

The 32-year-old doe eyed actress wore a sweet white a-line “Lydia” dress by Rachel Zoe that she paired with a cute black trim patterned violet short jacket by Marni.

I like the way her black patent Christian Louboutin pumps worked with the look by blending with the cute thin patent bow belt that sat at the center of her waist.

Zooey completed her look with a voluminous mane of chocolate curly tendrils.
