Ashley Tisdale in KYMERAH | 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards

Judging by this adorable strapless dress on Ashley Tisdale, she obviously had zero plans to get slimed last night at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards — so it’s a good thing she didn’t.

The 26-year-old former “High School Musical” actress arrived at the Galen Center where she hit the bright orange carpet in a printed strapless asymmetric “Alana” dress from the Spring 2012 collection by KYMERAH with a coral red sheer overlay.

I really like that she added the wide sheer black corset belt beneath her bust to both break up the look and give the loose design some shape on her petite frame.

Ashley complimented this detail — and the print in her dress, by pairing it with a black “Jean” clutch by Edie Parker and a pair of chain-fringe platform “Cassiane” sandals from B Brian Atwood.

As for her jewelry, she wore Le Vian earrings and a ring from Hellmuth.

Looks like Ash still has that thick strip of purple-red in her hair. It’s nice that she played into the “Crayola hair” trend without going overboard as it doesn’t put a damper on anything she wears.
