Gwen Stefani in Stella McCartney | “My Valentine” Video Premiere Hosted by Paul McCartney & Stella McCartney

Gwen Stefani kicked off her weekend in style by spending Friday evening at Stella McCartney’s store in Los Angeles. The English designer celebrated the world premiere of her father, Sir Paul McCartney’s new music video for his single “My Valentine”.

The 42-year-old singer-turned-designer selected a look from the Fall 2011 collection by McCartney; a black peplum jumpsuit with sheer sleeves, yoke and paneling at the legs.

While I love the polka-dotted version from the runway, I prefer this solid and chic style for Gwen.

She kept the look minimalist with classic black patent Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps, a studded minaudière and a red lacquered manicure. Oh, and I can’t forget two of Gwen’s signature looks — red lips and a twisted, intricate hairstyle.
