Kerry Washington in J. Mendel | Google & Hollywood Reporter Host an Evening Celebrating The White House Correspondents’ Weekend 2012

Before hitting the red carpet on Saturday for the 2012 White House Correspondents’ dinner, “Scandal” actress Kerry Washington hit up the pre-parties around Washington, D.C.

The 35-year-old actress was spotted at the Google & Hollywood Reporter celebration where she rocked a chic iris and black silk viscose crepe long sleeve tunic dress with a contrast hem detail from the Spring 2012 collection by J. Mendel.

This dress was originally seen in white on the runway.

Kerry looked amazing in this rich hue, and I like that the color was incorporated into her intense eye shadow.

She finished off with pretty bouncy curls, along with black tights, a patent Roger Vivier evening clutch and a pair of satin bow-adorned Stella McCartney booties.
