Leelee Sobieski in Maki Oh | “NYC 22″ New York Premiere

Leelee Sobieski stepped out for the New York premiere of “NYC 22″ last night at The Paley Center, where she wore a wildly printed dress by designer Maki Oh.

The 28-year-old actress selected this long-sleeve navy and white dress, with a wavy tie-dye print, from the Spring 2012 collection by the Nigerian designer. In fact, Leelee is the first actress to wear one of Oh’s looks in the United States!

I understand her reasoning for selecting white pumps — as it does match the dress, but I just wish she hadn’t. A navy sandal would have been lovely with the column skirt or even a pewter pair to match her clutch.

Leelee finished her look with a coral-colored pout and a casually loose, swept up ‘do.
