Malin Akerman in J. Mendel | “The Giant Mechanical Man” Tribeca Film Festival Portrait Studio

Before she hit the red carpet last night for the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of “The Giant Mechanical Man”, Malin Akerman joined her costars for the portrait session at the Cadillac Tribeca Press Lounge in NYC.

The 33-year-old actress wore a full look from J. Mendel, including a pretty navy silk georgette sleeveless draped top with a layered peplum and matching silk cropped pants.

I love this classic look with the added edge of the leather inset amongst the draping element.

Malin left her blonde tresses out in waves before finishing off the look with studded black platform pumps.
