Natalie Portman took a dip into the Lanvin archives for her dress when she spoke last night at the 2012 Elie Wiesel National Tribute Dinner held in Washington, D.C.

The event was hosted by US Holocaust Memorial Museum at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center.

The Oscar-winning actress looked incredible in her violet satin cocktail dress from the Fall 2006 collection, which was originally presented in a dark orange.

Natalie wore a pair of black Christian Dior pumps with bow detail. The dark color was appropriate as her dress featured a block of black on the back that floated towards the front sides. A sheer tulle inset sat above the bust and pretty embellishments adorned the shoulders.

Looking beautiful, as always, she completed her look with a halfway pinned hairstyle.
