Solange Knowles in Maki Oh | Splendid Soho Store Opening

Step aside… uh, everyone else, and take note of the badass wardrobe that belongs to Ms. Solange Knowles. Seriously, this gal is tearing it up lately! I’m all about her collection of vibrant dresses, brilliant accessories and endless array of shoes.

The 25-year-old singer-turned-DJ was on hand to spin some tunes at the opening of the Splendid Soho store in New York City this past Thursday wearing an outfit I want to steal for myself! Solange paired her Splendid white tee with a sexy velvet black pencil skirt by Maki Oh that featured a dangerous split on the side that gave way to a peek-a-boo lace inset.

Two pieces, that one could think were basic, became instantly enhanced with a turquoise Lie Sang Bong clutch, gold bangles, a stunning statement gemstone Mawi London necklace and a pair of “Bis Un Bout” pumps by Christian Louboutin.

I think people also underestimate how a hairstyle can make or break a look, because I don’t know about you, but Solange’s voluminous curly ‘do was giving all kinds of cool points to her ensemble.

I loved it from head-to-cap toe!
