The Odeon restaurant in New York City quickly became crawling with beautiful people, such as Karlie Kloss, Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts, Camilla Belle and even Mr. Kanye West (with new girlfriend Kim Kardashian, not pictured), as they paid tribute to year’s Tribeca contributing artists.
“NYC 22″ actress Leelee Sobieski wore this light pink boulcé suit dress from the Spring 2012 collection, with a wide split neckline, short sleeves, a pearl belt and multiple pocket elements. With a smooth up ‘do and dazzling Chanel Fine Jewelry earrings, Leelee finished off with a pair of black and white sandals. A silver or sapphire pair (to match her bauble earrings) would have been a more complimentary look than these heavier heels.
It was an ‘all black everything’ ensemble for actress Naomi Watts, who wore a metallic dark cocktail dress with a hook-closure jacket. After first seeing photos emerge of Naomi from the waist up, I was waiting patiently to see which if she went with sandals or pumps to complete this look. Imagine my surprise when I saw that it was neither and Naomi selected a pair of Chanel high ankle boots. Hmm…
Camilla Belle was giving me Priscilla Presley flashbacks with her retro-glam chocolate tresses and high arched dark eyebrows. The Tribeca Film Festival jury member opted for a little ‘flower power’ by slipping on this pale blue crochet ¾ sleeve dress, from the Spring 2012 collection by Prada, which was embroidered with navy and green rosettes. She looked beautiful as usual and finished off her look with a pair of navy suede “Gabor” pumps by Rupert Sanderson.
The chilly weather got to Liv Tyler enough to layer on a long white wool coat over her pink and purple silk floral maxi dress. I’d like to appreciate the dress more on her sans-coat, but at least I’m thankful it wasn’t a black coat. With her long dark hair pulled up and split blunt bangs on display, Liv finished off her look with a quilted Chanel bag and matching strappy sandals.
Model/DJ Leigh Lezark kept her look a bit more high-end-casual by pairing her white knit top with a black flounce skirt before layering on a printed tweed black and white jacket. She finished off with dark pumps, a Chanel “Boy” leather bag and a multi-wrapped chain bracelet. My favorite part of the look were her beauty details; those smokey eyes and shiny jet-black curls.
Other celebrities in attendance included: Karlie Kloss, Alexa Chung, Kellan Lutz (pictured), Val Kilmer, Arizona Muse, Liev Screiber, Robert De Niro, Julia Restoin-Roitfield, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Poppy Delevigne, Heidi Mount, Sophie Auster and Tallulah Harlech.
