Victoria Justice doesn’t usually hold back when presented with the opportunity to wear a sparkling mini dress, but she sure surprised me on Saturday night when she rocked a short suit for the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

The “Victorious” actress stepped out on the orange carpet wearing a beautiful coral “Jim” blazer and tuxedo “Colby” shorts from the Spring 2012 collection by Elizabeth and James.

I would have liked to have seen her wear a colorful floral blouse underneath with colors that complimented the suit, but Vic played it a tad safe with a white ruffled blouse.

I liked the outfit a lot, but I didn’t love it. The white shirt meant “business” and the pretty crystal-embellished grey Valentino booties kind of felt out of place.

She completed her look with long silky straight tresses.
