Amy Adams in Giambattista Valli Couture | 2012 MET Gala

Is this what we can expect from Amy Adams should she go to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival later this month to promote her new movie “On The Road”?

The 37-year-old red-headed beauty was a guest of Giambattista Valli and looked amazing in a gown from his Spring 2012 haute couture collection at the 2012 MET Costume Institute Gala — celebrating the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” — last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. 

Amy’s long tresses were styled in soft retro curls that fell over her shoulder and popped against her ivory, one-shouldered gown with a black inset at the bodice and a pale gold lamé bow belt.

She was giving drama, elegance and pure style last night — all the things we look for in a MET Gala attendee!

Amy looked beautiful.

Her look was completed with black satin “Karin” platform sandals by Brian Atwood, a gleaming gold Judith Leiber minaudière, Fred Leighton diamond earrings and a pop of color in the form of bright red lips.
