Beyoncé Knowles in Givenchy Couture | 2012 MET Gala
Photos: Zimbio; Style.comTalk about showing off your post-baby figure!
People’s “Most Beautiful Woman” glittered her way into the MET wearing a Givenchy full arm black sheer, stretch-tulle gown that was custom designed by Riccardo Tisci and fully embroidered with beaded crystal lace appliqués. This gown was previously seen in nude as part of the Fall 2010 haute couture collection, but Tisci gave it a total make-over that included a gorgeous vibrant train of ombre ostrich feathers.
Upon closer look, you’ll see that ‘full arm’ means that even B’s hands are covered by the dress!
Beyoncé nearly stole the show becoming the subject on everyone’s lips — and their Twitters.
She finished off her look with a sleek, pulled back hairstyle, coral glossy lips and small drop earrings.
I wish her bodysuit underneath had been more of a flesh color so that it wasn’t so visible amongst what is intended to be an illusion. If it had to be visible, I would have even preferred black over this lighter color.
