Cameron Diaz in Stella McCartney | 2012 MET Gala

Cameron Diaz was a vision in glittering champagne gold when she arrived at the 2012 MET Costume Institute Gala on Monday evening to celebrate the opening of the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibit.

The “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” star was a guest of designer Stella McCartney along with actress Kristen Wiig and rapper M.I.A. Cameron wore a custom made beaded long-sleeve gown with a draped open back.

She kept her look minimal as the dress shimmered enough to grab all of the attention. Cameron carried a gold evening clutch and wore drop diamonds earrings.

Her short bob haircut was swept over in the front and tapered in the back. I’m not really into that one flap of hair being blown back — it actually looks like an error caused by the wind.

All in all? Cameron looked beautiful.
