Carrie Underwood in Maria Lucia Hohan | 2012 Billboard Music Awards

Carrie Underwood changed out of her fluffy tulle gown last night at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in favor of a crimson dress to perform her single “Blown Away”.

The 29-year-old blew me away in this red silk mousseline “Irene” gown from the Fall 2012 collection by Romanian designer Maria Lucia Hohan. The dress featured a pretty shoulder embellishment, which attached to a long sash, and Carrie defined her waist, as the fabric swirled around her, with a rosegold satin ribbon belt.

I love the color and the way the nude underlining appeared gold under the bright lights.

The dress was illuminating against her long blonde ringlets.
