Chloe Sevigny in Miu Miu | 2012 MET Gala

I totally understand that the MET Gala is a place where anything can happen, but I still find myself scratching my head as to why Chloe Sevigny wore this Fall 2012 black mirrored, geometric patchwork mini dress by Miu Miu like this.

The dress looked so cool layered over a top and skirt on the runway, but this mega-revealing look that Chloe opted for just didn’t translate into anything I found appealing.

Why not just add a small black slip underneath? This was too much.

Chloe finished off her look with a wavy hairstyle, a pink satin clutch and a pair of black and silver platform ankle boots from the same collection.
