Doutzen Kroes in Elie Saab | “Cosmopolis” Premiere – 2012 Cannes Film Festival

It’s official, even though it’s not all over yet, I can honestly say that “Cosmopolis” had my most favorite premiere of all this year at the Cannes Film Festival. There were many great dresses and suits — and with such beautiful people wearing them!

Doutzen Kroes was one of the stand out ladies at Palais des Festivals tonight, and I may feel that way slightly in part of the fact that she wore my favorite dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Elie Saab.

The 27-year-old model flaunted her wicked figure in this cap-sleeve emerald green, fully sequined gown with paneling elements and a belted waist adorned by a rectangle plated detail at the front.

What a stunner right? I mean, the design of this dress is a solid visual of one of the reasons I’m a fan of Saab’s work to begin with. The cut, color, and style is so ideal for a woman’s body and it’s sexy without being revealing.

Doutzen looked incredible; I love that her green manicure ended up complimenting it so well too. I wonder if it was intentional.

She finished off her look with pulled back waves that fell down her back. Her hair was a little messy at the top, but it was also raining so I can’t complain. She looks better in the rain than I do on my best day.
