Eva Mendes in Antonio Berardi | “Girl in Progress” LA Charity Screening

Eva Mendes hosted a charity screening of her new movie “Girl in Progress” yesterday afternoon at AMC Universal Citywalk Stadium 19 in Los Angeles, California.

The 38-year-old actress looked pretty and spring-ready in her white textured top and bright tangerine crepe skirt by Antonio Berardi as she posted with her co-star Cierra Ramirez. Eva’s skirt was seen during the Fall 2012 collection in teal as well as a pale pink version that Emma Stone wore to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in March.

I thought the look was sort of perfect for the setting and occasion, but those shoes are killing me.

Eva played it safe in nude patent Prada pumps. A brighter heel would have complimented her cute outfit, but even if she was going go the nude route, the selected silhouette wasn’t ideal. She should have opted for a sans-platform style with a higher arched heel to elongate her legs.

She completed her look with a fresh face of make-up and a gorgeous full mane of light curls.
