Ginnifer Goodwin was the epitome of true beauty when she stepped out on the red carpet last night for the 2012 MET Gala to celebrate the opening of the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibit.

As the guest of designer Monique Lhuillier, the 33-year-old “Once Upon A Time” star wore a custom orange version of this stunning black gown from Lhuillier’s Fall 2012 collection.

This was one of my favorite dresses from the collection and I was hoping to see someone in it soon. While I’m a tad disappointed I didn’t get to see it in black, I can’t help but love it this vibrant color.

The cap-sleeve tulle gown features a leather belt layered over gathering that falls into a split, floor-gliding skirt. Connected at the sleeves and sweetheart neckline is stunning shimmering paillette and mesh embroidery.

She finished off her with a brushed pixie cut, small diamond drop earrings, dramatic burnt orange eye shadow and a pair of baby blue satin “Maniac” pumps by Brian Atwood that were, surprisingly, a great addition to her look.

Ginnifer is a strong contender for my MET Gala Top 10 Best Dressed list that I’ll be posting later this week.
