Lily Collins in Alexander McQueen | Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2012
Photos: Glamour UK; Style.comLily Collins hit the red carpet in dark green last night when she attended the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, where she was honored with the “Breakthrough of the Year” award.
The 23-year-old “Mirror Mirror” actress looked beautiful in her strapless jacquard, a-line cocktail dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Alexander McQueen. A similar dress was presented in that collection, but it was much more heavily textured and embroidered.
I loved her side-swept cascading curls and ruby red lips, which stood out against her super fair complexion.
Unfortunately, I was totally let down by her shoes. I like a good classic black pump, but this dress called for a much more original style to compliment the feminine flair of the color and cut.
