Marion Cotillard represented Christian Diorat the 2012 MET Gala on Monday night wearing a gorgeous two-tone gown from the Spring 2012 haute couture collection.

“The Dark Knight Rises” actress selected a strapless black sequin paillette embroidered design with a sheer rich violet skirt in which the detailed scattered about a the top.

I think the dress looks amazing on her, but I’m disappointed in the fact that the single sleeve violet shrug that was paired with this look on the runway was absent. Majorly disappointed.

Marion finished off her look with black lacquered nails, a matching evening clutch, super high Dior Fall 2012 suede platform sandals and jewelry from Chopard.
