Miranda Lambert in Lela Rose | 2012 Kentucky Derby

Miranda Lambert spent her weekend in Louisville, Kentucky where she took part in all of the festivities surrounding the annual — and legendary — Kentucky Derby.

On Friday night she attended the Barnstable-Brown Derby gala, but the following day found Mrs. Blake Shelton on the red carpet for the Derby.

Miranda wore a pretty Spring 2012 strapless white silk dress by Lela Rose with metallic abstract jacquard polka dots. As with her dress the previous night, Miranda’s asymmetrically cut design featured peek-a-boo dark grey tulle layering beneath her full skirt.

The biggest problem I had with this look is that the bodice didn’t fit her correctly.

Miranda styled her long blonde curls in a low, loose side ponytail and accessorized with gunmetal ball jewelry to match the dots on her dress.

She finished off her look with a black sequin fascinator with matching netting and a bright pair of red satin platform “Paloma” pumps by Charlotte Olympia.
