Naomi Watts in Stella McCartney | Jacob’s Creek: Cool Harvest – Launch Party

I am totally and completely obsessing over this teal velvet combo dress by Stella McCartney that Naomi Watts wore last night.

The Australian actress celebrated the new wine range Jacob’s Creek: Cool Harvest with a launch party held at The Orangery in London where she donned this sassy knee-length dress by the British designer.

First of all, I’m still into this scuba-neckline Stella has been continually using, but the deep teal color of this frock is absolutely striking. Not only is it a genuinely beautiful color, but it looks really nice with Naomi’s fair skin and light blonde hair.

There are sheer illusion side insets and the velvet bodice is separated from the crepe pencil skirt with a fun waving design.

Despite my love for the dress, I am a little bit on the fence as far as the sheer illusion insets at the sides go. I don’t dislike them, but at the same time… I can’t decide if they’re sexy — or if it just looks like her dress busted open. I’d probably like the dress even more if the same fabric used on the skirt took the place of the sheer portion.

Naomi finished off her look with gold Cartier bracelets and a pair of black Jimmy Choo “Surf” platform sandals. I really would have liked to have seen her pair this dress with gold pointed toe pumps to match the bracelet.
