Nina Dobrev in Dolce & Gabbana | 2012 CW Upfronts

Nina Dobrev stepped out on the black carpet today for the CW Upfront presentation where she promoted the fourth season of her hit vampy series “The Vampire Diaries”.

The 23-year-old actress flaunted her tall, lean figure in a long-sleeve, slim fit, champagne satin crewneck dress from Dolce & Gabbana that hit a few inches passed her knees.

I love the cut of the dress on Nina, but I wish it were a different color. I can be so fussy with nude tones — and right now I’m just picturing it in a teal or violet  and can’t turn back.

I want to point out something cool about her look… she reversed the nude/red trend. I’ve seen more red dresses with nude pumps lately than I care to, but Nina put dark ruby red on her feet instead with this sexy platform Gucci sandals.

A welcomed change up, indeed.

Nina finished off her look with a pretty berry lipcolor, slightly curled tresses and a glittering gold Jimmy Choo petite tube clutch.
