Kristen Stewart has attempted pretty much every type of trend on the red carpet, but we were treated to a touch of “preppy punk” done right when she attended the LA screening of “Snow White and the Huntsman” in a Stella McCartney tailored skirt suit.

After pairing the edgy ensemble with a braided mohawk and a Chanel “Pirate” ruby red manicure — all Kristen had left to do in order to perfect the look was add a little art to her face!

Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey tells The Fashion Court that she was inspired by the outfit and wanted to keep her looking “youthful and undone, but with strong eyes to match her hair and outfit.”

Jillian gave the ‘Snow White’ star fresh and glowing skin by using Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. She then set out to give Kristen’s eyes a slightly punk, worn-in black eye effect.

To achieve this, Jillian applied the Givenchy Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil all over the lid while using a big nylon brush to smudge around the eyes on both the top and bottom. | continue reading..

The 36-year-old actress, who’s currently due with her third child, was glowing and glamorous when she attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her film “Mud” wearing a breathtaking midnight blue, custom-made Versace gown that floated around her figure.

Reese’s ensemble was practically perfect all the way around; a breath of fresh air.

Robert Pattinson stepped out on the red carpet tonight with director David Cronenberg for the French premiere of “Cosmopolis”, which was held at Le Grand Rex cinema in Paris.

The 26-year-old actor was devastatingly dashing in a Gucci two button, notched lapel, blue plaid “Dylan” suit with a salmon fitted dress shirt and a complimenting charcoal grey “Dakota” printed tie.

I mean, seriously, he’s in color. At this point, you should know how I feel about him wearing color and do you see why I’m so adamant about it now? The pink tones in the shirt looked amazing on Rob, and I love the way it picked up the coordinating plaid lines in his suit. His tie was the perfect contrast.

Kirsten and her hairstylist Marcus Francis were totally inspired by the beautiful flower-embellished Dolce & Gabbana headband that she wore with her white dress, and wanted to create a look that was “flirty, undone, with a bit of whimsical” to play off the head-piece.

Marcus prepped her damp hair with Phyto Phytovolume Actif Maximizing Volume Spray before blow drying with a boar’s hair round brush. He then sectioned her tresses on the side from the front with a middle part down the back in order to keep the hairlines smooth and allow for the flyaways to appear elsewhere. | continue reading..

After dominating the 2012 Cannes Film Festival last week with the red carpet premiere of his movie “Cosmopolis”, Robert Pattinson embarked on a European press tour to promote the David Cronenberg-directed trippy film!

The 26-year-old met with fans, did a few interviews and premiered the movie in Lisbon, Portugal yesterday before taking to Paris, France today to do it all over again.

Rob was a guest on the French talk show “Le Petit Journal” today to talk about “Cosmopolis” and looked really good doing it. He had to nix his trusty baseball cap for the interview, but you don’t hear me complaining because he’s having a very good hair day.

Rob was in great spirits during his segment and was clad in a casual cool look, which consisted of dark trousers, a grey t-shirt underneath a deep grey button-down shirt, but the pièce de résistance was definitely his black jacket! | continue reading..

Kirsten Dunst looked beautiful at the photocall and press conference for her film “On The Road” during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival earlier this month.

The 30-year-old actress rocked a 3D lace white cocktail dress from Dolce & Gabbana with creamy pumps and a pretty floral headpiece woven into her braided hairstyle. Everything was so feminine and soft about her look that her light make-up palette complimented the mid-morning chic ensemble.

Kirsten’s makeup artist Adam Breuchaud was inspired to create a “soft sculpted eye and brow for this demure daytime look.”

“Silky luminous beige and rusty rose reflect the light and help open up the eye,” so after applying shadow in those soft colors he lifted and defined her lashes using Diorshow Blackout Mascara. Adam then groomed Kirsten’s brows with MAC Eye Brows Crayon in ‘Fling’ before brushing though them with the Dior Brow Gel. These steps helped shape the finish. | continue reading..

Liberty Ross hit the red carpet last night at the Westwood Village theater in Los Angeles, California for the special industry screening of “Snow White and the Huntsman”. Though she plays the role of Snow White’s mother in the movie, Liberty was also there in support of  her husband, director Rupert Sanders.

Earlier this month, Liberty selected a daring, burn-out blue sequin Tom Ford gown for the London premiere — and last night, she once again opted for a Ford design!

Before her single release bash on Sunday, Jennifer Lopez performed during the Q’Viva! The Chosen Live show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

As I said before, Zuhair Murad is designing all of the costumes for Jennifer’s upcoming concert tour, so I wasn’t very surprised to see her already getting the superstar design treatment with this gown during one of her performances.

The 42-year-old entertainer wore a beautiful long sleeve, hand-beaded haute couture gown from Zuhair Murad, with a sheer silk neckline that traveled into the arms and a full gold feather embroidered skirt.

J.Lo dazzled up on that stage — and it wasn’t just because of the dress! She wore a lovely pair of yellow diamond long drop earrings by Cora, which stood out due to her partially clipped long mane.
