Reese Witherspoon in Versace | “Mud” Premiere – 2012 Cannes Film Festival

Could Reese Witherspoon be more beautiful at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival premiere of her film “Mud” tonight?

I don’t think it’s possible, because she looked stunning!

The 36-year-old mama-to-be (for the third time!) made her way down the red carpet at Palais des Festivals on the French Riviera wearing a regal, cobalt blue, custom-made Versace gown. The empire waist, v-neck silk-chiffon dress featured blue crystal embroidery bursting throughout the design. Double straps were fully encrusted with the sparkling gems.

Reese was the belle of the ball; the color and cut of this dress fit her like a dream. It’s rare that I see gowns designed to accommodate a pregnant woman’s new figure as flawlessly as this one did.

She seemed to be in such great spirits this evening and waved to fans as she posed for photographers with her costars Jeff Nichols, Jacob Lofland, Tye Sheridan and Matthew McConaughey.

The slit at the center of the skirt provided a great look at Reese’s shimmering silver satin Versace platform sandals. There’s also an amazing cutout crisscross element at the back of the bodice, see below.

With her blonde tresses swept up and twisted into an elegant bun, Reese showed off her Chopard pear-shaped white diamond drop earrings. She also wore a matching white diamond cuff.

If you couldn’t tell by now, there’s not a single thing that I don’t love about this on her.

She’s easily one of my favorites at Cannes this year!
