Solange Knowles in Rachel Roy | 2012 MET Gala

Solange Knowles looked amazing in a yellow peplum gown by Rachel Roy as she joined the designer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night for the annual Costume Institute Gala. This year the soirèe honored the opening of the  “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition.

The sunflower color really popped against the 25-year-old’s rich and even complexion.

I like that she limited her jewelry to dazzling up one hand with a sparkling gold and glitter deco cuff bracelet, multiple rings and a matching shimmering long clutch.

Solange finished her look with smokey eyes and a voluminous mane of center-parted curls. This was, yet another, winning look from Ms. Knowles.
