Taylor Swift in Elie Saab | 2012 Billboard Music Awards

Taylor Swift basically shut down all competition tonight when she stepped out on the white carpet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas looking red hot for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The “Mean” singer wore a scarlet red chiffon gown with a lace panel bodice from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Elie Saab. The dress features a sexy thigh high slit, but unfortunately Taylor opted not to do any Angelina moves tonight.

I love that Taylor wore her long blonde hair out; in fact, she’s very reminiscent of the model who wore this Saab dress for the lookbook with those blunt bangs she has going on.

She’s like a life-size Barbie, and as a fan of the legendary doll — that’s a major compliment.

Taylor, who’s already my favorite of the night, finished her look with burgundy eyeshadow, Neil Lane diamond and platinum leaf earrings (she also wore a matching ring) and Elie Saab heels.

I like her dark manicure.
