Cover Girl: Kristen Stewart Gets Candid in Couture for Vanity Fair!

At this point it seems like KRISTEN STEWART is on the cover of every single magazine lately, but that tends to happen when you’re one of the hottest stars in Hollywood and you’re currently starring as a beloved fairy tale princess in a major motion picture.

After taking over the newsstands for the last month and half with amazing editorials in several major fashion magazines, the 22-year-old “Snow White and the Huntsman” actress apparently saved the most glamorous for last.

Can we just take a moment to admire the ultra-glam cover of the July 2012 issue of Vanity Fair magazine, lens by Marios Testino, on which Kristen strikes a sultry pose in a drop-dead-goreous gown from the Spring 2012 haute couture Armani Privé collection, while an adorable Pomeranian puppy sits pretty on her lap?

Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury worked with Kristen to create an intensely retro-fab look, which was reminiscent of an old Hollywood goddess, with spacy eyelashes and sleek dark tresses (courtesy of hairstylist Marc Lopez) that gave me insta-Cher flashbacks from the 1970s.

In the issue, Kristen talks about working in film, and gets pretty candid when speaking of the moment she knew “Twilight” had changed her life for good, taking the “perfect” pictures, and of course, her style. This is a fashion magazine, after all.

“Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting—you don’t shave your legs!”

If you’re completely dazzled and dazed by the cover, wait until you see the rest of Testino’s vision for the issue along with the many other gorgeous Spring 2012 haute couture looks that stylist Jessica Diehl hooked Ms. Stewart up with.

Kristen looks gorgeous in this shot from the VanityFair.com behind the scenes video. This gives you a better view of her striking crystal bead-embroidered gown from the Armani Privé Spring 2012 haute couture collection and her Boucheron diamond cuff.

While she didn’t wear the matching jacket from the runway on the cover, Testino was still able to capture K.Stew looking fantastic with her Pomeranian pal while donned in the cropped design.

You won’t find this photo in the actual issue, but thank goodness for Behind-the-Scenes footage!

With a beautiful French back drop and a few good men on horses, Mario and Kristen took their shoot outside on the streets of Paris. She looked like a real-life fairytale princess in this Dior haute couture embroidered full skirt ball gown.

Kristen doesn’t have pierced ears — but that didn’t stop her from looking fierce in these jumbo crystal ornate baubles while donned in a cold off-the-shoulder draped beaded monochrome gown.

This full look is from the Givenchy haute couture collection.

In her only breather from gowns, Kristen flashed a whole lotta leg in a sexy lace embroidered corset from Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture. I’m not sure who that dude is, but does it matter? Feast your eyes on that striking emerald and diamond “Composition Rouge et Verte” necklace from Fabérge.

This might just be my favorite photo from the entire editorial.

Kristen is picture perfect in another Dior haute couture ball gown. This time around she wore a black and white pleated tulle dress with a sleeveless splattered bodice. Her hat is Philip Treacy.

I had high hopes that Kristen would wear a dress from the haute couture collection by Giambattista Valli, and while there are many I would have chosen from her — this glorious ethereal ivory draped design was high on the list. I’m equally pleased that she included the metallic gold floral statement necklace.

As for extra jewelry, Kristen wore a beautiful Van Cleef & Arpels “Birds of Paradise” diamond and emerald ring.

While shooting on location in a restaurant, Kristen posed with Chanel ‘s Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld while clad in a full look from the Spring 2012 haute couture collection. Her couture ensemble included strappy glitter pumps from the collection.

In her hair, Kristen wore a diamond star “Comète” broach from Chanel Fine Jewelry.

How artistically breathtaking is this photo of Kristen in a crystal embroidered, long sleeve gold gown from Valentino haute couture? The side view showed off her Repossi “Boucles D’Oreille” earrings, while her hand-on-hip pose spotlighted her “Bagues” ring — also Repossi.
