All photos courtesy of FerragamoOn June 19th, Ferragamo celebrated the opening of the “Marilyn” exhibition dedicated to Marilyn Monroe at the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence, Italy. Among the VIP guest list were actresses AnnaSophia Robb of the upcoming CW television series “The Carrie Diaries”, Italian actress Valeria Solarino and “Bridesmaids” star Rose Byrne, who all wore full looks designed by Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti.
AnnaSophia Robb wore a purple silk long sleeve dress with bold crisscrossing gold prints and puckered details down the side. She wore her long blonde hair in a side ponytail before finishing off her look with purple satin embellished pumps. Rose Byrne appeared to be ready for an elegant night in her sheer printed long sleeve, high neck midi dress with a long keyhole opening at the bodice. She wore hair up with a few stray cascading curls, a metallic violet clutch and satin pale pink pumps. Valeria Solarino looked beautiful in a long sleeve shiny printed cocktail dress, a fuchsia and gold metallic tube clutch and a pair of matching strappy open toe sandals.
The “Marilyn” exhibit focuses on different artistic domains, but mostly features photography and twentieth century art creations from Warhol, Klein, Rotella and Canevari and classical art by Soldani, Foggini, Dandini, Susini, Boucher, Canova and Greuze.
Historic film clips, international magazine covers, clothing and the actress’ original writings are displayed next to these masterpieces. Take a look inside thanks to this interior photo exclusively provided by the brand.
