Florence Welch attended the exclusive opening of the Bulgari Hotel London tonight in a luxurious gown by Gucci.

The Florence + the Machine front-woman selected this Fall 2012 burgundy silk georgette long sleeved pleated gown with asymmetrical neckline and cascading ruffle detail, but opted not to wear the black velvet belt seen on the runway.

Because of her statuesque figure, rich auburn hair and fair complexion, the regal color really popped on her.

I do miss that belt though.

Florence completed her look with nude nail polish, Gucci high heeled ankle strap sandals in black velvet, garnet jewelry and a metallic Bulgari “Serpenti” minaudière.
