Grace Potter in Kaufmanfranco | 2012 CMT Music Awards

Grace Potter glittered her way down the printed purple carpet at Bridgestone Arena for the 2012 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night, where she donned a sparkling gunmetal gown by Kaufmanfranco.

While the front of the dress featured a plunging open neck, the talented musician made sure to spin a few times for photographers to show off the totally open cutaway back.

No worries though, she wasn’t in danger of a wardrobe malfunction because the cutout detailing was covered with illusion sheer fabric to hold everything together for a flawless fit.

I feel like the neckline should have come together another inch, but other than that, I liked this dress on her.

She finished off with taupe colored nails, open toe black sandals and a mane of twisted curls.
