Jessica Chastain attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards last night where she glammed up in a Prabal Gurung dress.

The 35-year-old “Lawless” actress wore dress from the new Resort 2013 collection; a shimmery white a-line, knee-length evening dress that was enriched with gold beaded elements.

A translucent embroidered capelet fell over Jessica’s shoulders.

I could have done without that part as it kind of made her look like the Tooth Fairy.

Despite the fluttering element, Jessica looked really beautiful. I’m happy that she wore the Fall 2012 Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung metallic gold and white pumps, with multiple ankle straps and a crystal studded platform.

Jessica finished off her look with a side-parted, glossy lips and a stud diamond earrings.

Why was Jessica there? She presented the Womenswear Designer of the Year award to The Row designing sisters Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
