The 23-year-old star had this Fall 2012 illusion cutout, single-shoulder gown by Kaufmanfranco created in a neon highlighter yellow from its original Chinese red.
I like the color, and it fit the 80′s rock ‘n roll theme of the movie –but the dress was really long on Julianne and I have no idea what’s going on with her hair.
The top knot is welcomed in your everyday look, and I’ve even seen some red carpet knots look pretty good — but Julianne’s just looks messy. I mean, it’s shifted to one side.
I know it was to show off the split side and back of her dress, but a woven ponytail could have achieved that. Another alternative would have been a cool french braid mohawk type of style, like the one recently seen on Kristen Stewart.
She finished off with Christian Louboutin sandals, Stephen Webster drop earrings and a bright red pout.
What did you think of Julianne’s fluro dress? Did it ‘rock’?
