Kate Beckinsale in Tom Ford | Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards 2012

I think Kristen Bell missed the LBD memo at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards on Saturday, because in addition to Emma Stone, Malin Akerman, Julianne Hough and Mila Kunis — Kate Beckinsale also went the ultra-dark route.

The 38-year-old actress strut on stage to accept the ‘Jean-Claude Gahd Dam Award’ during the ceremony wearing ‘the’ Tom Ford zipper dress from the Fall 2012 collection.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a variation of this and Charlize Theron just recently wore the exact same drape front design, with the gold zipper elements at the arms and traveling around the waist and back.

I still love the dress, and there’s no doubt that Kate looked good in it, but at this point I’d just rather see someone wear another look from the collection. With that said, I’m still bummed over the stage photographer who fails to see anyone’s feet.
