Kate Bosworth’s Makeup Artist Molly Stern Shares The Scoop Behind Her ‘Look’!

Kate Bosworth looked beautiful last night when she attended the 2012 Whitney Art Party in New York City. Makeup artist Molly Sternhelped the “Black Rock” actress get ready for the evening by giving her a very subtle and refreshed look.

According to Molly, “The inspiration for Kate’s look tonight was clean with a note of sexy. Wearing Theysken’s for Theory and going to the Whitney, we wanted Kate’s vibe to be effortless with a hint of cool.”

GET THE LOOK:

“I began by prepping her skin with a spray of Jurlique Citrus Purifying Mist. Then I moisturized her skin with Natura Bissé C+C Vitamin Cream SPF 10. Next, I evened out her skin tone using Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation very modestly in order to keep her utterly perfect skin texture and tone shining through. It was used more as a veil than a mask. I warmed her cheeks by using Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Blaze. I wanted her cheeks to have a freshly kissed heat to them.

For her eyes, I lined the lash line as tight and close to the lashes as possible using YSL Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils in No. 1 Deep Black, then smudged the color slightly. Using a very tiny smudge brush, I added a hint of Victoria’s Secret Hypergloss Eye Shimmer in Starlight. Two coats of Hourglass Mascara in Black for the lashes.

I based her lips with NARS Lipstick in Tzigane with a touch of gloss from Victoria’s Secret Sheer Lip Color Duo in Berry on top.”
