After suffering a concussion due to getting hit in the head with a pole during a concert over the weekend, Lady Gaga seemed to be doing well while arriving in Brisbane, Australia yesterday evening.
The 26-year-old wore a fantastic eggplant-colored dress with a harness element and side peplums from one of my favorite collections, the Fall 2012 line by designer David Koma.
Lately I’ve been seen Gaga in some seemingly “normal” looks, when compared to some of her more extravagant ensembles and I’m really, enjoying it. Between her recent orange sherbert dress, that retro black and white shift dress, and the glamorous Atelier Versace she wore in the airport a few weeks ago, I’d say that Gaga is finding a nice balance between expressing herself on-stage an off and not mixing the two.
Then again, this will probably last for only so long.
With that said, despite my love for her Koma dress and the Gaga-required Christian Louboutin “Daffodil” platform pumps in a coordinating purple — I can not get on board with her latest hair ‘do.
This sharp, cutout bob in bright peach reminds me of that meme picture of the cat wearing the watermelon cutout on its head. You know which one I’m talking about.
She finished off with bold jewelry, black leather gloves, and a pair of fab round purple sunglasses.
What did you think of Gaga’s power purple arrival ensemble?
