With her long brown tresses flat iron straight, makeup artist Beau Nelson helped Lily put the finishing touch on with a chic kohl lined eye and a shimmery pink pout.
“Lily was wearing pieces from the Paris-Bombay Pre-Fall collection from Chanel and I was very inspired by the collection itself. Taking cues directly from the runway look, I decided to do a modern version of a traditional kohl lined eye and keep the rest of the face sheer and beautiful to show off her amazing skin.”
So, while Beau was totally inspired by Lily’s chic outfit of the night, The Fashion Court is inspired by that neatly lined eye and refreshed complexion. How about you?
“I started with a sheer foundation using CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup with a synthetic brush only where needed. I then used CHANEL Éclat Lumiere Highlighter Face Pen under eyes to brighten.
I brushed on a small amount of CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Ecrin on the apples of the cheek, and sweeping back towards the hairline slightly. I contoured under cheeks with a contouring powder for some shape and definition to the face.
For eyes I first dusted lids all over with the pale shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Prelude, then I applied CHANEL Le Crayon Khol in Noir on the inner rim of the eyes. I then used the same pencil on the top and bottom lash lines, softening and smudging it with a brush. I re-lined the inner rim of the eye for extra intensity before applying the intense black shade in the CHANEL Ombres Matelassèes Palette in Montaigne over the smudged pencil to set it and make it even more intense. I followed that with black liquid liner along the top lashes in the thinnest line possible, then smudged gently into the black shadow. I curled lashes and coated them in CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir.
On lips I gently patted CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Aventure on lips with my finger to press it into lips giving it a more natural finish. “
Got all of that? Good. Check out the supply list below of what you’ll need to recreate this fresh look!
