Mary J. Blige in Catherine Malandrino | “Rock of Ages” London Premiere
Photos: Zimbio; Style.com; (below) SSense.comMary J. Blige was back on the carpet to support “Rock of Ages” with a premiere in London last night, where she wore her second dress from Catherine Maladrino‘s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear line.
This time around, the 41-year-old R&B singer-turned-actress was back in black, with a not-so-basic design.
Mary wore an edgy long-sleeve mini dress with a woven leather overlay, which included sheer panels and fishnet elements.
I wouldn’t say this was a vast improvement over her last dress, but it was certainly much more complimenting than the ruched leather and sheer number that she wore in LA.
I also really like her statement earrings this time over the chunky-necklace-and-earrings combo from before.
With a flipped hairstyle similar to the last, Mary J. finished off with the same Barbara Bui snakeskin wooden platform sandals.
