Michelle Pfeiffer in Christian Dior | “People Like Us” 2012 LA Film Festival Premiere

Michelle Pfeiffer attended the red carpet premiere of her new movie “People Like Us”, which was held at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live Stadium on Friday night during the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival.

The 54-year-old actress wore a wide v-neck, gathered cocktail dress from the Spring 2012 Christian Dior collection, which was printed with so many tiny black and white stripes that it made the dress appearance grey.

Michelle looked nice in the dress, but I would have preferred that she wore a sandal much like what was paired with the design on the catwalk, rather that these black patent “Bianca” platform pumps by Christian Dior.

If she had to go the pump route, I think the “Pigalle” style would have complimented the dress better.

Michelle finished off her look with twisted wavy tresses, light makeup, a dark red “East/West” minaudière from Judith Leiber and a pave ribbon ring that was designed by her sister-in-law Rona Pfeiffer.
