After wow-ing on the red carpet for the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, it was back to California for Sophia Bush where she hosted the launch of the Apolis Defend Tomorrow Campaign on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old former “One Tree Hill” actress has always been a wholehearted human rights and environmental activist. I’ve watched Sophia dedicate any spare minute she’s had, when she’s not acting, to helping others practically for nearly a decade, and now she’s lending her support to Apolis with owners and brothers, Shea and Raan Parton.
For the event, Sophia kept it casual and chic in a grey and white “Fisherman” striped tank top by Enza Costa that she layered with a navy blazer by Stella McCartney. Her jacket featured gold buttons, which instantly complimented Sophia’s cuffed Apolis Brand Wheat Civilian Chinos.
As for her shoes, Sophia wore black patent Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps. These were not only a nice feminine touch, but they too paired nicely with her black belt and her top underneath the striped tank.
Love the silver necklace Soph is wearing? It’s from Falling Whistles!
She finished off her look with pinning back some of her cascading waves and adding an extra dose of color with dark red lips.
Man, I love her style.
Sophia helped Shea and Raan launch their “Market Bag”, which was designed by Sophia. The bag is a staple for the Apolis brand and created with the “Teach a Man to Fish”mindset, which is the backbone of the entire Defend Tomorrow Campaign.
You can officially purchase the bag now at www.apolisGlobal.com.
What did you think of Sophia’s color-coordinated casual look?
