Viola Davis in MaxMara | Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards 2012

Viola Davis attended the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards ceremony last night, where Meryl Street presented her with an award to honor her work in film.

This was one of the rare red carpet appearances Viola has made since award season earlier this year to promote “The Help”.

Viola opted for an all-black ensemble, which included a pretty black strapless MaxMara dress, with a sweetheart neckline and a bow at the side of her waist.

I think the bust line was a bit too low on her, but I like the dress.

She accessorized nicely with a pair of matching onyx and diamond drop earrings and “Loila” platform Jimmy Choo sandals.

Viola completed her look with dark red glossy lipstick and a wavy bob hairstyle.
