All eyes were on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge last night when she arrived at the Royal Academy of Arts for the UK’s Creative Industries Reception in London wearing a pale grey cocktail dress.

This is the second time Kate has worn this draped designs from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection by Roksanda Ilincic. She donned it as daytime attire last year for Variety’s Venture Capital and New Media Summit conference in Beverly Hills, held during the Royal American Tour with her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.

I certainly preferred how she wore it last year with her hair out considering last night’s up ‘do, while elegant, completely ages her. With it cascading over her shoulders, she still looks sophisticated, but much more youthful and relaxed.

Kate finished off her look with a shimmering evening clutch, nude suede pumps and a pair of diamond eternity earrings.

What do you think?

When did Kate wear this Roksanda Ilincic dress best?
